Energy Audits:

 

Here at Varna we believe that there's no one right way to "go green."  Solar panels are great, but if your house is seeping heat during the winter unnecessarily, then there are probably much more cost effective and environmentally friendly things that you can spend your money on.  We offer all the expertise required to determine what home improvements are most cost effective and / or environmentally friendly, and then we ensure that they get done correctly.

 

Geothermal (Ground and Water Source) Heat Pumps

 

Aside from energy audits, for homeowners interested in further decreasing their energy consumption we install ground source heat pumps (GSHPs), as well as water source heat pumps.  We are certified by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) and fully licensed and insured.

 

Wind Power

 

In the coming months, we will also begin installing mini wind turbines throughout the area.

With our staff's strong engineering background, we can help you make any custom green project a reality.  If you have a river or stream running through your back yard, we may be able to help you not only heat and cool your home for far less money down than your would spend installing a conventional geothermal system, but we may also be able to help install a micro-hydro power generator as well, potentially enabling you to start collecting money from the utility company each month instead of spending it.  We are dedicated to embracing the resources in your own backyard by using any and all of the tools provided by existing and emerging technologies.
